North East Herts MP Sir Oliver Heald has welcomed the Government’s Call for Evidence to support the development of a Private Parking Code of Practice.  This aims to create consistency across the private parking system, ensure fairness for drivers, registered vehicle keepers and landowners and increase transparency in the way the private parking industry operates.

Commenting, Sir Oliver said: “I am glad that the Government is taking action to improve the regulation of the private parking industry.I would encourage anyone with concerns about the actions of private parking companies to respond to the call for evidence."
