The Grants for Heritage allow organisations to apply for financial support from the National Lottery for their heritage projects. The Heritage Fund are asking organisations to prioritise projects that boost local economies, encourage and sustain jobs and support wellbeing. Commenting, Sir Oliver said: ‘Our National Heritage has an essential role to play in developing local communities. More than £500 million of National Lottery and Government funding has supported more than 1,500 heritage organisations. This is a superb achievement and I urge those eligible to get involved.’
