Sir Oliver Heald MP welcomes the news that Great Northern are increasing the number of off-peak seats by 15,588, by introducing additional services and lengthening trains. 

There will be:
1) A new week-day service at 23:44 from London King’s Cross to Cambridge, calling at Letchworth Garden City and Royston,
2) A new week-day service at 17:11 from Royston to London King’s Cross, calling at Letchworth Garden City and Finsbury Park, and
3) 1,976 additional seats are to be added to fast and semi-fast service between London King’s Cross and Cambridge, by making all day-time services operate with a minimum of eight coaches.

Sir Oliver said, ‘I am very pleased that Great Northern is to increase its off-peak services for my constituents in North Herts. The additional trains will be particularly welcomed by those who enjoy travelling to London for the evening. It is good to see the new company making an early investment.”
