MP for North East Hertfordshire, Sir Oliver Heald, is calling on local people to share their views by taking part in a consultation that the Government will use to develop a new strategy for sport. The consultation covers a wide range of themes, including young people, infrastructure, participation, and professional sport.
Commenting, Sir Oliver said, “Sport is an activity enjoyed by millions, which improves public health and wellbeing. It is important that we get as many people involved in sport as possible and ensure that our local sports clubs can thrive. I urge the people of North East Hertfordshire to respond to this consultation and give the Government their views.”
