North East Herts MP Oliver Heald has welcomed Government funding of £49,096 for Royston Picture Palace. This funding is for health and safety equipment and for business sustainability planning.

Commenting Oliver Heald said: “Royston Picture Palace is a great community project with a huge effort from local people. I always enjoy a visit and they show some great films. I am delighted that they have received part of the Government’s fund for the Arts with awards decided by the experts of the British Film Institute. This is a tribute to all involved and hopefully ensures sustainability.”
