North East Hertfordshire MP Sir Oliver Heald has welcomed Government grants from the Culture Recovery Fund that will benefit North East Hertfordshire businesses.
The Culture Recovery Fund was put in place by the Government to help business respond to the coronavirus pandemic and the unprecedented challenges it brought to culture and creativity across the UK.
The grants totalling £491,465 will be awarded to three organisations including Standon Calling and Limitless Academy of Performing Arts. This funding will help maintain jobs and keep businesses afloat.
Commenting, Sir Oliver said: “This is fantastic news for business in these challenging times. Additional funding from the Culture Recovery Fund will help maintain jobs, keep businesses afloat and allow people to enjoy the services these sectors provide. I am delighted Standon Calling and Limitless Academy of Performing Arts were successful in their applications and that everyone in the constituency can continue to benefit from the superb work they do.”
