I have received the following message from London Stansted Airport about their Noise Action Plan giving details of the consultation and how to submit feedback.
"Every five years, we produce a Noise Action Plan (NAP) which outlines our strategy to assess, consider and manage aircraft noise at London Stansted Airport. The plan includes a range of actions and measures to reduce or mitigate the impact of aircraft noise to our communities.
In this consultation, we are proposing new policies such as limiting noise generated by aircraft operating during the 8-hour night period throughout the summer scheduling season, installing additional noise monitors in local communities, and enhancing the ways in which we provide information about noise to stakeholders.
We are seeking your views to help shape the plan. We are committed to minimising the impact of airport operations on our neighbouring communities, with feedback from local stakeholders such as yourself forming an important part of our consultation process. Our NAP will cover the period from 2024 to 2028. The consultation closes on 28 August 2023.
Further information about our NAP can be found here https://www.stanstedairport.com/community/ on our website.
